Book
Books on birds, nature and our food system can be difficult to maintain a proper scientific perspective. Several times I have been dismayed to find that a book recommended as a science-based book is so poorly researched that the species of birds are clearly wrong. Each of these books has had a noticeable impact on my outlook and changed my life in some way.

to donate
If there’s something for everyone and you want to spread your money even further, donating to smaller organizations can have a big impact on the work they can do. Consider the following organizations, explore their activities, and see what appeals to you.
charity
Below is a list of non-profit organizations in various areas of interest that benefit wildlife and conservation in a variety of ways. We strongly feel that a holistic approach to our biggest challenges is the only way out of this situation.
Located in Wilson, Wyoming, the organization focuses on education, research, and rehabilitation. Your donation allows us to focus on tracking the success rate of released and rehabilitated eagles and other birds of prey, which is one of the most unique aspects of their work. There is little data on released birds, and a single GPS unit costs over $3,000, let alone the costs associated with monitoring raptors.
The organization focuses on field research and long-term data collection of wild owls.
The organization works with raptor species to create, maintain and preserve nesting sites for sustainable population management.
Mission: To promote the large-scale restoration of the world’s grasslands and people’s livelihoods through integrated management.
