of volunteers community cat clubA cat rescuer in southern Jersey, she met a friendly stray cat in her neighborhood last year. The cat didn’t belong to anyone, so they took her in so they could find her microchip.
“We knew she was adopted from a shelter, but we were unable to contact her previous owner,” the local cat club told Love Meow.
A cat named Monica tried to contact her owner to no avail and was put up for adoption. She quickly distinguished herself with her extraordinary personality: adventurous, outgoing, and full of energy.
Monica was soon adopted, but despite our best efforts to accommodate her, things began to deteriorate. Although Monica was in good health, she began to exhibit many behavioral problems.
The adoptees tried various methods to accept her, but nothing seemed to help convince her.
“They tried for nearly a year, but she had so many behavioral issues at home that they ended up giving her back to us.” Sarah Sharpshared with Lovenya, president of the regional cat club.
Sarah decides to delve into Monica’s history in hopes of finding clues that explain her behavioral problems.
“We have been in contact with her original shelter and have been able to obtain more information at this time and have learned that she has been returned multiple times due to toilet and behavioral problems. I did.”
Monica didn’t use the bathroom and always tried to sneak out of the house. Her friendly personality faded while she was indoors.
“Our goal is to keep cats indoors, but the reality is that not all cats are the same. It was clear that Monica wanted to be outside, but she was still sociable and interacting with humans. was hoping for.”
Sarah kept looking for a place where Monica would be happy, well taken care of, and get the attention she wanted from the people.
Sarah learned through a friend that a local farm was looking for a “social barn cat.” She soon realized that Monica was the perfect person for them.
Monica has arrived Sickler’s Circle View Farm It had been exactly one year since she was rescued by volunteers. She immediately approached people with her confidence and explored the place as if she owned the place.
“She was adopted in April and is thriving. She’s getting all the attention she wants, not only from her new family, but from all the customers who come and shop at the farm store.”
Monica loves her new life, settling down in a shop and running a farm alongside humans. She likes to greet her customers, patrol the grounds with her tail held high, and bask in the warm sunshine.
“This is perfect for her. We love Monica and all her personality,” said Rachel of Sicklers Circle View Farm in an Instagram comment.
After being in and out of the house for two years, Monica lives happily ever after. She brings joy not only to her family, but to everyone she meets.
