A beautiful 12-year-old cat somehow got lost on the street and was then taken to the pound, but no one came to pick it up. Best Friends Felines (from Brisbane, Australia) took immediate action when she learned she needed to adopt her cat.
Owner Michelle Cummins henry hottie pet bed (soon to be STAN Pet Beds) learned of this cat’s plight and offered to foster her through the support of Best Friends Felines.
“She looked disheveled and out of place. Something told me I had to help her,” Michelle said.
Within an hour of arriving at the foster home, a cat named Freya slid next to Michelle on the couch, hugged and began purring like a storm.
“Her friendliness was heartwarming considering she was found on the street and in the cold and frightening pound for weeks,” Michelle told Love Meow.
Freya settled beautifully in her new home and always felt like part of the family. She suffocated her adoptive mother in her embrace, imbuing the space with her sweetest purr, her purr.
In a short time, Freya brought immense joy to the family and crept into everyone’s hearts.
Michelle was grieving the loss of her beloved dog, Stan, a few months before she met Freya. Freya wandered into her own life, wrapping her Michelle in her arms and looking lovingly into her eyes.
“She waltzes with a little heart repair kit.”
“My broken heart feels love again, and Alice has a partner in crime again. Freya is sassy, kind, funny, confident, and very He is affectionate.”
Since then, Freya is 13 years old, but still a kitten at heart, zooming all day long. She likes to run around on her little feet like a fast floating cloud.
She rolls on her back to show off her incredibly puffy tummy or soak up the warm sunshine. She likes to follow Michelle into her office and claim her own chair as her throne.
Freya loves everyone, except maybe the chickens in the yard. Most of all, she is madly in love with Michelle, crouching next to her and holding onto her arm tightly.
“Freya has earned the title of Velcro Cat with great honor.”
When Michelle fell ill with the flu last week, Freya took great care of her, accompanying her as a human being, nursing her with healing purrs and tender hugs.
“I was going to be a foster parent, but I knew that once I met him, I would never let him go,” Michelle said.
“The moment she arrived at the pick-up point, it felt like an eternity.
Freya came to her foster home on that fateful day to find out that she was the place to be.
“She has brought so much love into our lives. She is 13 and acts like a kitten. I love her dearly.”
