a few weeks ago, Coastal Bend Cat Rescue We received a report that a pregnant cat was found roaming the property.
The finders believed the cat had been abandoned there and called for help. Before the rescue team arranged to rescue the cat, she chose a spot for the kitten in the garden.
CBCR Director Mary Huckabee told Love Meow, “She was such a sweet person that we wanted to take these babies with us when they grew up.”
A volunteer who had already fostered the cat learned about the cat and offered to adopt it. She prepared a quiet and comfortable space for them to move in, even though her hands were full.
With the help of the property owners, they were able to get their mother Symphony and their seven young children to safety.
Symphony and her kittens settled down beautifully after a short walk around the new dig site. She quickly returned to her mother’s business as all seven of her hungry people flocked to her.
“The name Symphony was given because she was always talking (chewing and purring) and purring. All her babies were named after famous composers. First From then on, they loved rubbing their bellies with their pets,” Mary told Love Meow.
The Symphony works around the clock, catering to the many demands of the 7 people and catering to their every whim. She makes sure no one misses a meal or bathes.
The kittens grow by “notes and chords” and start running and rolling over each other. “They love to play, wrestle, and sleep in big piles.”
“The two girls, Fanny Mendelssohn and Hildegard of Bingen, are very self-assured and the first to explore. Amadeus Mozart, Igor Stravinsky, Johann Sebastian Bach just wants to “Hug all day.”
“Even better if you start wrestling in puddles holding him on your foster parent’s lap. Antonio Vivaldi prefers to climb cat trees, feeders, foster trees…he climbs anything. ”
The seven-man crew enjoys day and night embracing in close cohesion, clanging in perfect harmony. They incessantly purr and squeal into the room.
Every time my adoptive mother walks in the front door, she is met with the most tender sounds of little composers.
“Symphony keeps the gurgling metronome running to help little overdoers keep the tempo of making music.”
Recently, a kitten who desperately needed a friend was adopted by a shelter. “He was showing many signs of his behavior indicating that he was a singleton, such as biting and scratching.”
When it became medically clear that kittens could socialize with other cats, they decided to introduce them to Symphony and the composers.
“They brought him into the mix and taught him how to play with kittens, so now Hans Zimmer is part of the crew.”
It needed a village, but Symphony and her seven are thriving in a foster home with a newly adopted family member.
Once the kittens are big enough for adoption within a few weeks, they will be spayed and neutered and will start looking for their owners.
“Symphony and her kittens will make wonderful love songs.”
