A kind person came to the aid of a kitten that was wandering in and out of bushes, ultimately saving her life.

About two weeks ago, Sarah Isom received a call from a colleague at Winston-Salem State University about a stray kitten who appeared to be in distress.
He was seen lying on the tiled walkway leading to the campus building, meowing at the top of his lungs. When Sarah arrived at the scene, the kitten was gone.
She searched all over the building, but found no sign of the kitten. Feeling defeated, she returned to her car.
When Sarah found out that the kitten was still there, she picked herself up and decided to keep trying. As she was walking around the perimeter of the property, she noticed something in the bushes on the side of the building. “I saw a little gray kitten curled up in a ball in the sunshine,” Sarah shared to Love Meow.
“As soon as he saw me, he meowed as loudly as I’ve ever heard a kitten. He then sprang out and hid in the corner of a building about 10 feet away from me. rice field.”
When Sarah approached the kitten, it ran again as if playing hide-and-seek with its guardian. “This process was repeated until the kitten hid behind the HVAC unit and escaped into the bushes in front.”
The kitten’s loud meowing did not stop, and Sarah noticed that the kitten was approaching. Crawling through the bushes on all fours, the kitten made a final dash into the garage of the parked car. “I was able to catch him and hug him right away.”
The kitten was finally safe, but no one came to pick it up. Sarah held out her hand to sparkle cat rescue I asked for help and offered to foster him.
He was affectionately named Cole and was an estimated five weeks old. Cole weighed only 1 pound and his body was covered in fleas and dirt. After cleaning everything up and being treated he felt so much better.
Cole was so hungry that he devoured his food as if there was no tomorrow. “As he jumped head first into the warm wet food, he started purring. I think he finally felt safe.”
Sarah later realized that the kitten was eating leaves to survive outdoors. “If he had been out in the rain any longer, he would have been starving.”
With good food and plenty of indulgence, Cole began to break out of his shell and seek affection. He snuggled up to her adoptive mother, kneading in her happy paws and purring to sleep.
“The last few days have really shown his personality. He snuggles up and sleeps in the funniest position,” Sarah added.
Cole’s voice is undiminished and loud and intimidating. He is not shy about voicing his “opinion” and gets his opinion heard every time.
“He is curious and playful and enjoys interacting with the resident cats and is learning how close he wants to be with them.”
Cole, who let Sarah escape for money during the rescue, is now thriving in a foster home, growing older and more playful.
When she wants to run around the house and recharge her energy, she curls up with Sarah and cuddle happily. Cole plays hard, but naps more enthusiastically.
Sarah never stopped looking for a little stray dog so that his life could be saved.
Now, Cole enjoys being carried while checking the world around her in safety and comfort.
