Ben and his family from Montreal set up a shelter in their backyard for community cats. That way you have a roof over your head to protect your cat from the elements.
While providing food and shelter, the family also works to help those in need of cat repair and rescue.
They noticed that one of the stray cats had a kitten, and at one point she brought the kitten into the yard. The mother cat left her babies there and never came back.
Unfortunately only one kitten survived when Ben found the trash. He was very tired and wanted to curl up and rest.
“A cat with a bad eye was found sleeping alone in an outdoor corner. He was so small he could barely see anything. He could not have lived much longer in this condition.” said Celine Krom. Chaton Orphelin Montreal Shared with lovenya.
The family immediately brought the kitten inside to keep him warm and called for help from a local conservation group, Chaton Orphelin Montreal. “We immediately took him under custody and named him Tilky.”
Tilky was extremely underweight and had a swollen stomach due to parasites. “He was skin and bones, but he was a fighter.”
The kitten was treated for eye, ear and stomach problems. For the first few days, Ms. Tilky needed help carrying food as she was too frail to eat on her own.
After each meal, he was drawn to the source of heat and banded next to it to take a long healing nap.
Thanks to her careful attention and good food, Tilky started gaining weight steadily and her appetite increased.
“He wanted us by his side while he was eating. He was always looking for a warm body to cuddle with. Without his litter, he would be near the heat source when napping.” .”
Once Tilky was fully recovered and socialized, he was introduced to the other cats in the house. Resident Super Senior Marsha immediately rescued the kitten.
Masha was adopted by Celine when she was 14 and has helped many foster kittens ever since.
At 21, she is still a great comfort to the orphaned kittens. Marusya snuggles up to Tilky and pours out her motherly love.
When Tilky isn’t seeking people’s attention, he’s probably cuddling or napping with Marusya.
Tilkey also met Tatu, a fellow foster mother from a shelter. He staggered over to welcome the big kitten and began to imitate cats and hone his skills as a cat.
Tattoo doesn’t mind little disciples following him around. He happily teaches kittens tricks and teaches them how to be cats.
Tilky has been hand-raised ever since it was taken into custody. He loves people and wants affection from them. He wants to be hugged, hugged and loved whenever he gets the chance.
“Even though he’s so small, he’s full of energy. He’s always on our feet, looking for us and getting attention,” Celine shared to Love Meow.
After a tough beginning, Tilky has grown into a playful, snuggly kitten. He walks around the house giving love to everyone every day and living his best life.
