One resident noticed that her cat had become chubby and skinny overnight, and noticed a kitten near her house.

A friendly stray cat appeared in the neighborhood alone. She was seen roaming the streets, searching for her food. No one in the area came to pick her up.
One day, a resident who became acquainted with a friendly stray cat was shocked to discover a remarkable change in the cat. “She went from her nice plump figure to an amazingly lean figure overnight,” says Mary Huckabee. Coastal Bend Cat Rescue (CBCR) Officer, shared with Lovenya.
They realized that the cat must be pregnant and had a baby, so they started looking for the kittens.
Since the mother cat had been near the house before she gave birth, residents roamed the property looking for signs of the kittens.
“They searched for where they could be and after a few days finally found them in a lovely cuddly puddle under the front door.”
The place under the verandah was not suitable for raising kittens. Combined with the summer heat, it will be unbearable for newborns.
The finder contacted the local conservation group CBCR to get the help the feline family needed to thrive. They fed the mother cat well and helped care for her babies while waiting for a foster home to be arranged.
As soon as the foster was found, the finder crawled under the porch and pulled the cat litter up to safety.
The mother of the stray cat watched the rescue effort unfold and was happy to be carried with her kittens, as if she had been waiting for this moment.
“Mommy was very happy to be put in a foster home,” Mary told Lovenya.
A cat named Tuba quickly got used to the new place and felt right at home. She was happy with the arrangement and she was overjoyed with all the food she could eat.
“Every time her adoptive mother comes into the room and asks for a second helping, she walks to the bowl with anticipation.”
Tuba are talkative and don’t hesitate to express their “opinions”. Food can never be served fast for a sweet talkative girl. She has 4 kittens, she has 3 cream kittens, 1 orange cat, 2 boys and 2 girls.
Like their mothers, the kittens were named after the brass instruments trombone, trumpet, French horn and bugle.
Now 3 weeks old, they are starting to explore around the cage. They are honing their gait under the watchful eye of their loving mother so that they do not stray too far.
With their newfound strength, the kittens become more active and curious, wrestling with each other, lurching toward their foster mother, and meowing for attention. “They are very cold and content to be held and hugged.”
Tuba gives the four demanding families unconditional love, but is also willing to accept help from his adoptive mother.
As much as Tuba loves his kitty, he is affectionate and will run to you for attention or a pat on the head.
With the help of a kind neighbor, Tuba and her four friends were rescued in the nick of time. They grow up in comfortable nursing homes and enjoy the luxury of indoor living.
