A wobbly cat named Flip Flop has a big personality and is a “master of escape”.

About half a year ago community cat club rescued a very stumbling cat named Flip Flop from a local animal shelter to give her a chance to find a good home.
Flip Flop was shy and a bit overwhelmed after several weeks in the shelter environment. Her quiet space, plush bed and interaction with her foster parents finally allowed her to relax.
After about three weeks, her true personality emerged. “She started to become more social and quirky,” her adoptive mother Erica told Love Meow.
Flip Flop has cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological disorder that affects cats’ motility. Despite her dizziness, she has found her own way to move around and is very energetic.
When she finds a toy, she goes into “attack” mode, stares at the target, and the bunny kicks it into submission.
Her preferred mode of transportation in the house has always been a human. “She loves being around me and her husband, and she seems happy just to be in the same room with me.”
Flip Flop is an inquisitive observer and loves to keep an eye on people with his big doe eyes. She also enjoys looking out the window and observing her neighbors and small creatures.
“We have a big bay window and she is a very nosy cat.
Flip Flop has a strong desire to be in the same room as his foster parents, and nothing prevents them from contacting them. She said, “You can’t contain her girlfriend.”
Erica has experimented with different playpens where flip-flops are safe to play and explore, but the tabby girl has a mind of her own: an adventurer who knows no limits.
“She can’t stand on four legs or walk straight, but she’s managed to get out of all sorts of playpens and pet pop-ups. She just wants to be with her family as much as possible. .”
She climbs and jumps on big pens and doesn’t get in the way of anything. Flip Flop transformed into a “master of escape” and brought lots of laughs with his wild antics.
Nothing makes her happier than snuggling up in her warm lap. She drifts off to sleep while trying to keep her eyes open.
“We gave her a laundry basket to hang out in so it was easier to move her from room to room. I am,” Erika told Love Meow.
“She basically loves being in the same place as her family. I crocheted some of her favorite cat toys.”
Flip Flop brings joy to everyday life. It’s hard not to laugh when she’s in the same room as her.
She demands to be the center of attention, the queen of the castle, the one and only human being. I don’t mind her fluttering.
“We want to find a forever home where she can just be pampered and get all the attention she wants.”
